On Monday, November 16th, The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC) held its annual fall benefit at The Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. Some 275 guests enjoyed a four-course dinner designed by Chef Emma Bengtsson and wines donated by Robert Kacher Selections. Deborah Norville served as the host for the evening. The event raised $540,000 for the agency, which benefits The NYSPCC’s Trauma Recovery Program.
The NYSPCC, founded in 1875, is the first child protection agencies in the world. Since its founding, The NYSPCC has investigated more than 650,000 cases on the behalf of over two million children, and has educated over 46,000 professionals on how to identify and report child abuse and neglect.
