Giggle refounder and CEO Erin Moennich re-created the online children’s clothing retailer after working for some of New York’s best names in clothing: Bloomingdale’s and LVMH. She says she “always felt there was an opportunity to improve the market.” Founded in 2002 as a retailer for newborn to toddler-size clothing, Giggle branched out this season with its own clothing line. For Giggle’s new private-label collection, Moennich asked local moms and a Brooklyn-based designer to help her maximize cuteness and comfort. Here, the native Midwesterner shares her favorite NYC things and places after moving here more than 15 years ago.
“Giggle has an amazing partnership with Welcome Baby, which provides boxes of products to low-income moms with everything they need for a newborn’s first four weeks.”
“Alexandra Reboul of Aliprints Design Studio designs the prints for all of our Giggle pajamas and does custom nursery designs, which are amazing!”
