Nordstrom partnered with award-winning chefs Ethan Stowell and Tom Douglas to launch restaurant concepts in its new NYC flagship store.
Agnolotti at Wolf
WOLF James Beard nominee Seattle-based Ethan Stowell makes his NYC debut with Wolf, open after Nordstrom’s hours. He fuses Italian-inspired dishes with Pacific Northwestern ingredients, such as Dungeness crab, king salmon, oysters and wild mushrooms. Lounge chairs and communal tables create a relaxed yet stylish ambiance, fueling late-night conversations over wine from Wolf’s range of bottles.
BROADWAY BAR Stunning decor curated by NYC-based designer Rafael de Cárdenas fills the inside of the Nordstrom-exclusive bar. With light appetizers such as crispy chicken wings and apple-walnut burrata, the two-story lounge is the city’s newest social hot spot.
Jeannie’s is modeled after the Las Vegas Nordstrom location.
JEANNIE’S Three-time James Beard-winning Douglas’ Italian restaurant perfects pizzas cooked at 530 degrees. Speciality warm “toastie” sandwiches are served along with seasonal appetizers, salads and pasta.
SHOE BAR Situated in the women’s shoe floor, the lounge invites shoppers to refuel with Champagne or specialty coffee drinks. The all-day menu features quick bites, such as dry-aged beef meatballs and kale and blue cheese salad.
Hani Pacific occupies a modern space featuring an under-the-sea-themed mural.
HANI PACIFIC In a vibrant space on the lower floor of the store, Douglas’ Pacific Rim-inspired venture serves plates called pupus paired with ginger-cured salmon, salty caramel chicken wings and red chile pork ramen.
OH MOCHI Indulge in silky mochi doughnuts at Douglas’ third spot. Adjacent to Hani Pacific, the shop’s naturally gluten-free, baked-in-house mochis are sold in a variety of flavors, such as yellow cake topped with chocolate glaze and chocolate cake covered in honey-roasted-peanut-chocolate glaze.
Brussels sprouts frites at Bistro Verde
BISTRO VERDE Casual but elegant, Nordstrom’s flagship restaurant welcomes families seeking classic American fare. The bistro only uses ingredients from environmentally friendly and sustainable vendors in dishes such as Roma tomato basil soup and cilantro lime chicken tacos.
