Yesterday, Maison Atia, the first luxury faux fur brand, opened their first boutique ever on Madison Avenue that welcomed press and VIPs to celebrate its launch! Founded by Chloe Mendel and Gustave Maisonrouge, Maison Atia is disrupting the faux fur market by translating the luxury touch of real fur to this new material. With foundations in design, quality and craftsmanship, Maison Atia mixes modern styling with traditional fur heritage techniques and works with skilled artisans to create inspirational products that look and feel glamorous.
The boutique, located at 833 Madison Avenue, is a two-story atelier decorated in bold colors and prints inspired by the label’s signature lining
with antique home decor touches personally curated by the founders. Showcasing Maison Atia’s full range of styles including their new Fall/Winter 2019 collection as well as their Classic Collection, the boutique also carries exclusive colors and one-of-a-kind pieces. Beyond coats, Maison Atia offers an assortment of accessories including faux fur tote bags and pochettes, hats, scarves and slap bracelets. Coats retail from $850-$2,300 and accessories range from $90-$400. Exclusive to the Madison Avenue boutique, shoppers can customize their faux fur coats with vintage patches sourced by Chloe and Gustave or bring in their own.
Maison Atia will be partnering with select brands to sell products in the boutique in limited quantities, starting with the Marina Bulgari-inspired
Marina B jewelry label. There are also footwear collaborations and more in the works.
Maison Atia encourages creativity and curiosity by designing limited collections to empower women through self-expression. The boutique will be
hosting various events and panel discussions that address relevant topics chosen by Maison Atia like women in luxury, healthcare, fashion and
entrepreneurship.
