Amid the city’s skyline lies a remarkably chic urban penthouse crafted by designer Arthur Dunnam for his jewelry-collecting clients.
Gold and silver mingle throughout the breakfast room, which features a Philippe Hiquily dining table and Knoll Bertoia chairs.
To craft a home for jewelry collectors requires an expert eye for opulence and bling—an eye that interior designer Arthur Dunnam certainly possesses. In this artistic and warm New York City penthouse filled with several unique and exclusive design pieces, luxury meets contemporary.

The color basis of the home is white, but jewel-like surfaces and textures along with pops of paint make the space feel next-level.

The designer’s keen attention to detail throughout the penthouse is utterly impressive. Immediately upon entering the space, one is mesmerized by the ornamental chandeliers and accented light fixtures, while being surrounded by natural light pouring through large windows.

The Newton dining table by Boca do Lobo commands the spotlight in the dining room.
Arthur Dunnam for Jed Johnson Studio managed to craft a space that feels sophisticated but also blends sculptural pieces and vibrant fabrics to give the home a cozy, retro ambiance. The kitchen area features a statuesque table and light fixture, accompanied by a glorious yellow seating area and nest chairs.

The nursery features a Ducduc dresser and crib, Charles Beckley daybed and window fabric by Lulu DK for Schumacher.
These vivid shades are juxtaposed with the main dining area, which artfully incorporates silver and gold pieces. Perhaps one of the most striking design pieces in the home is the modern Newton dining table by Boca do Lobo, which mixes wood, brass and myrtle burl veneer with glass and arrives in a dazzling shade of gold.

This amalgamation of textures, shapes and colors is evident throughout the entirety of the penthouse. Similar to the dining area, the living room features a combination of plush seating areas and carpets, along with gold-toned marble tables and sofa frames to create a distinctive, luxurious layout. Uniformly, the primary bedroom blends textures and shades of cream and white with cabinetry and glass to achieve oasislike living. The grandeur of the home is complemented by the incredible city views, apparent from the voluminous windows all throughout the one-of-a-kind penthouse.
