The new namesake beauty brand from Marc Jacobs is already one of the hottest beauty lines to hit the market. It's new ambassador, YouTube star and beauty influencer Nikkie Tutorials, tells us why at the brand's Sephora Times Square space.
You’re the brand’s first-ever global artistry advisor, tell me what that entails.
NIKKIE TUTORIALS: Marc Jacobs Beauty and I are working together in many ways that help meet both our objectives! I’m helping them with products, new launches, and they are helping me take my content to new levels.
What drew you to Marc Jacobs Beauty in the first place?
NT: I think Marc is leading the makeup industry by being completely himself. That’s what I always do, follow my gut and do what I feel is right. And they are the first brand to really believe in influencers, because most brands view us as a means to making money. They view me as a partner.
What’s your favorite Marc Jacobs beauty product?
NT: Accomplice concealer. It’s FaceTune in a bottle. You usually can’t mix a cream product on top of a powder product, but with this you can. So whenever you have a little smudge, you tap this on and it’s perfectly faded. It comes as a stick but the formula is magic. It’ll conceal all your secrets.

Is there a signature product?
NT: The signature product will always be Highliners. You can do anything in them. And I think that their Youthquake gel creme is really making a move. This is THE moisturizer to create a perfect blank canvas.
What’s the biggest beauty mistake you see people make?
NT: I think a lot of people forget to set their foundation. Set it with powder and it will blur fine lines and pores, and even make your makeup last a bit longer. It’ll change your world if you haven’t tried it before.
What is the most underrated beauty tool?
NT: Eyelash curlers! I cannot live without them! I have six straight lashes. If I don’t curl my lashes, I feel sad. And I do it before mascara.
