It's a passionate community of over 107K individuals looking for connection and comfortability as they continue to navigate the inundated and overwhelming world of boutique fitness across the U.S.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Elizabeth and Dale for their expert recommendations on where to work out in NYC.

P.volve

415 W Broadway/Website

This gorgeous studio located in SoHo will change the way you think about fitness. Even for all you girls who would rather shovel down pasta than go to the gym. P.volve is all about using functional movement and connecting mind to muscle with their unique method and equipment. Pain is not the name of the game here, but you will absolutely see sculpted results. This boutique fitness studio is the perfect place to go before your ten-day vacation to the South of France.

Nofar Method

Nofar Method takes a unique and creative, yet very challenging spin on pilates, incorporating cardio and strength on the reformer, as well as the Cadillac machine. You’re definitely going to need one of those trendy 64oz water bottles to survive this workout. Class time is split between the two machines, to deliver a really difficult, yet highly effective workout. Her brand new space just opened which is an absolute must-go!

DanceBody

DanceBody is a must-try if you want a fun way to get in great cardio and a sculpting workout all at the same time. Classes range from more sculpt-based and beginner dance-based classes to more advanced classes. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be the most coordinated person in the world to participate in this class (but maybe don't come here if you have two left feet). They make the workout super enjoyable and to the beat of the best music. It’s like dancing at Commonground, but with lemon water instead of a vodka soda.

Forward Space

Forward Space Is a hybrid of dance, cardio, strength, and mental release in a club-like setting. As soon as you enter the dim-lit space, you escape all of the chaos of the outer world. After immersing yourself in this sanctuary-meets-club-atmosphere, you come out feeling energized, extra sweaty, mentally recharged, and STRONG! This revolutionary studio combines the power of movement and fitness into one, which makes for a fun and therapeutic workout experience.

If you want to box your way into a solid sweat, look no further than Rumble. The energy and workout here are #onpoint and elevates your average fitness class to the next level. The class is a mix of boxing on the bag, and floor work strength training. The music and vibes make it feel like a Friday night dance floor, and the instructors are incredibly energetic and friendly.

Pro Tip: This is a great place to go when you need to get your anger out on that guy who won’t answer your texts.

Humming Puppy

119 W 23rd/Website

The name of this place is just so zen. This luxurious and welcoming yoga studio really connects the practice to the origins of yoga in India. The space is beautifully designed, with a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. Upon entry, participants are served delicious teas that set the tone for the rest of the class. The class is laid out to respect your personal space, and you’ll leave feeling mentally and physically aligned and in tune with your body. Highly recommend if you need to mentally reset from the stresses of the day.

The Salt Drop

280 Broadway/Website

The Salt Drop is a beat-driven, mat-based celebration of movement that combines elements of cardio and sculpt. The class is challenging on many levels. If you’re in marathon shape, you’ll find it meets you where you are. If it's your first time moving in a while, there’s a place here for you as well. Just like a salt shaker, the class isn’t afraid to shake things up. That ex who broke your heart will definitely be salty when he sees your rocking hot bod. If you can still gasp for air, the class will leave you feeling mentally released, sweaty, and sore all in one.

Good Day Pilates

This charming and naturally lit pilates studio located in the heart of SoHo, is indeed a great way to start your day. All classes are designed by trained Physical Therapists, so you are not only working on those abs, but protecting your body through movement. The studio offers classes ranging from recovery and flow, to a more intensitive jump board class, to prenatal workouts for all you soon-to-be baby mamas.

Located in SoHo and Union Square, Energi allows different instructors to teach their methods and host classes in their facilities.
