Cartier Exhibition Opening

| May 29, 2012 | Parties

THE PARTY Disco and bell-bottoms aside, the ’70s brought us some finer moments, including Cartier’s iconic nail bracelet designed by Aldo Cipullo. The French jewelry house paid tribute to the decade with a special exhibition, Cartier & Aldo Cipullo, New York City in the ’70s at the brand’s landmark mansion on Fifth Avenue. Guests viewed baubles from the era before heading to Skylight Studios for an after-party with DJ sets by the Misshapes and James Murphy. And hip parents BeyoncĂ© and Jay-Z slipped in to watch a surprise performance by Rita Ora. THE PLAYERS Cartier’s Emmanuel Perrin gave actress Lily Collins a personal tour of the collection, while Jason Wu and Karlie Kloss delighted over the classic designs.
