Children's Fool's Fête

THE PARTY Some of the biggest names in fashion gathered at the Mandarin Oriental hotel to support the ninth annual New Yorkers for Children dinner and dance. Presented by CD Greene, the event raised nearly half a million dollars to benefit youth in foster care. Lydia Fenet of Christie’s conducted the silent auction, which featured items from YSL and Judith Leiber. THE PLAYERS Zac Posen made an entrance, arriving with model-about-town Coco Rocha on one arm, and a blond (and almost unrecognizable) Crystal Renn on the other. Designer Erin Fetherston and her rocker boyfriend, Gabe Saporta, hit the dance floor, while high society’s favorite photographer, Bill Cunningham, was on hand snapping candids of the revelers.
