Earth Day Dinner

| May 5, 2015 | Parties

On Wednesday, April 22nd, The Culinary Collective celebrated Earth Day with a zero-waste 15-course meal in partnership with Salvage Supperclub. Hosted at a private townhouse in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood, guests were wowed by the inventive vegetable-forward dishes, which included melt-in-your mouth pastas, indulgent desserts, incredible cashew cheeses and a buttery rich savory tart, among other delectable things. Beyond being completely plant-based and sustainable, 10% of proceeds went to support City Harvest. A pop-up supper series launched in early April by Chef Jay Astafa and Chef Angela Lowe, The Culinary Collective anticipates scheduling additional dinners soon, as well as possibly traveling with their outstanding kitchen skills to Los Angeles and San Francisco this summer. Vegans and non-vegans alike will both no doubt be delighted by this truly unique NYC dining experience, from the space to the tastes. Learn more at culinarycollectiveny.com.
