On Exhibit

| December 28, 2011 | Parties National

THE PARTY There was nothing subdued about the American Museum of Natural History at this year’s Museum Gala. More than 600 guests partied to Coldplay in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. THE PLAYERS Brian Williams hosted the Hollywood-heavy ball and Jamie Niven of Sotheby’s oversaw the auction that helped raise nearly $3 million to support educational and scientific programming. SOUND BITE “In 1,000 years, Alec Baldwin is going to be stuffed in that closet over there.” –Chris Martin, pointing at the dolphin diorama.
