Times Square Wheel
See the crossroads of the world like you have never seen before on this giant pop-up ferris wheel in Times Square. Towering 110 feet above Broadway Plaza, the Times Square Wheel provides riders a new vantage of the surrounding action, promising a sensory overload as they soar through billions of lights and spectacular billboards.

Have you "herd" of this art exhibit that’s on view across the 5 boroughs? CowParade is the largest public art event in the world. Fiberglass sculptures of cows are decorated by local artists and celebrities, and distributed over the city, in public places such as train stations, parks, and major streets. After the cows are displayed they will be auctioned off for charity, this year benefitting God's Love We Deliver, the organization which cooks and delivers meals to New Yorkers with life-altering illnesses.

Cosmic Nature
A spectacular polka-dot-filled exhibition is now on view at the New York Botanical Garden. KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature is inspired by both Kusama's fascination with plants as well as her childhood spent in the greenhouses and fields of her family's seed nursery in Japan. Visit to see the gigantic "Dancing Pumpkin" (2020), a sculpture in the shape of a pumpkin that you can walk under; Kusama's first-ever "obliteration greenhouse;" and the "Infinity Mirrored Room-Illusion Inside the Heart" (seen here) which is an outdoor, mirror-box installation that reflects NYBG's seasonal environment. Advance tickets are essential.

Pixar Putt

Pixar Putt is a Disney-inspired mini-golf course. This pop-up, open-air mini-golf experience is made up of 18 fun and interactive holes inspired by the stories, characters, and icons from some of Pixar's most beloved films. Themed holes include Toy Story, Luca, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., Coco, and Finding Nemo.

Undercurrent
A new event that immerses visitors in over 11 original audiovisual art installations, created by influential musicians to inspire positive impact around the Climate Crisis.

SHARE by KAWS
KAWS has unveiled a new sculpture in front of Rockefeller Center. The 18-foot-tall bronze statue is entitled, “SHARE,” and features his iconic “COMPANION” character holding a miniature pink “BFF.”

Bryant Park Movie Nights
Bryant Park movies are back! Spend a night with your favorite movie under the stars. Ten movies will be screened this summer on the famous grass of Bryant Park, on Monday and Tuesday evenings through September. This year includes the inaugural “Broadway to Film'' series, which will feature special appearances from the talent involved in current productions of popular Broadway plays and popular movie adaptations. Lawn, food, and wine concessions open at 5 pm. The movie begins at sunset, which lends itself to a romantic date night! Bring a blanket!

Obama Portraits
From the moment of their unveiling at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., the official portraits of President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama have become iconic pieces of culture. This stop at the Brooklyn Museum is part of a five-city tour that travels across the country and is expected to reach millions of people who might not otherwise have an opportunity to view these vibrant and groundbreaking depictions of American leadership.

Don't miss the 26-foot-tall moving sculpture featuring Big Bird has been installed atop the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Part of the museum’s annual Roof Garden Commission series, As Long as the Sun Lasts by Alex Da Corte, showcases a blue-feathered Big Bird sitting on a floating crescent moon, holding a ladder, and gazing out at Central Park and the massive towers that dot the skyline.

SuperReal is a cutting-edge interactive art experience that bridges reality and illusion. A site-specific creation by Moment Factory, this immersive adventure fuses pixel-precise projection mapping technology and unprecedented multimedia art, to transport visitors through multidimensional digital experiences.
