Global Lyme Alliance Benefit

THE PARTY Global Lyme Alliance, the leading nonprofit fighting Lyme disease, honored animal rights activist Marisol Thomas and designer Joseph Abboud in its third annual New York gala. Cipriani rediscovered the party-planning splendor of Lawrence Scott, who donated his services, with food inspired by the Four Seasons’ restaurant menu. THE SCENE Among those in attendance and support were Jim Miller, Tommy Hilfiger, Daniel Benedict, Ramona Singer and Bryan Adams. Speakers included Rosanna Scotto, Ally Hilfiger and GLA CEO Scott Santarella. THE HIGHLIGHTS The event raised nearly $2 million, and guests all received copies of Lyme disease fighter Yolanda Hadid’s book, Believe Me. Performances by Rob Thomas and Chris Daughtry topped off the evening of solidarity. -Luisa Horwitz
