THE PARTY Some of the city’s best chefs came out to Jim Lahey’s new Sullivan Street Bakery to celebrate Mario Batali’s “Foodie 50” feature in the April issue of Manhattan magazine. THE PLAYERS George Mendes of Aldea, Kamel Saci of Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria and Megan Fitzroy of Parm and Torrisi Italian Specialties served up some of the mouthwatering eats that Batali featured on his list of favorite dishes in the city. SWEET TREATS Guests devoured Parm’s famous ice cream cake and didn’t leave empty-handed—gift bags were filled with chocolates from Valrhona and tea and coffee from McNulty’s. Photos by Jeff Fried
