THE PARTY Monumentalizing the 80th anniversary of the groundbreaking Guggenheim Foundation, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum commemorated the 2017 Guggenheim International Gala in a soiree over two glamorous evenings, made possible by Dior. The gala honored spearheading artists and patrons who reflect the progressive spirit of the foundation. THE GUESTS The biggest names in the film, modeling, fashion and music industries were in attendance, notably Fe Fendi, Kirsten Dunst, Naomi Watts, Kate Mara, Dave Franco, Common and Marilyn Minter. THE HIGHLIGHTS Guests celebrated with a special pre-party performance by HAIM, its members all clad in Dior, and sets by Kindness in the iconic rotunda. The second night featured a performance by Daniil Simkin with a piece from his production, Falls the Shadow, showcasing costume design by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s artistic director.
