Thompson Central Park New York
Thompson Central Park New York embodies the hotel brand’s signature touches of sophisticated design and refined flair.
THE NEWS Along with the openings of Thompson Savannah, Thompson Hollywood and Thompson Buckhead last year, Thompson Central Park New York opened its doors to the public in November. The debut of the hotel also brings new, reimagined public spaces—perfect for work or play—such as the lobby area and lounge, by renowned New York architect Thomas Juul-Hansen.
THE VIBE Sophisticated, stylish and elegant, Thompson Central Park New York is settled on the southern edge of Central Park just a short stroll from cultural hubs such as the MoMA, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. The space is characterized by dark woods, low lights, navy accents and luxe golden finishes. Plus, in accordance with the building’s history as the Parker New York that housed recording studios in its early days, the hotel’s artwork is inspired by music.
THE ROOMS The thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites of this swanky hotel are designed by New York-based interior design firm Stonehill Taylor. The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad
Aside from impressive accommodations, the hotel will also be home to a luxe spa and fitness center complete with treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, and a meeting and event space.
THE NEWS Opening early this year, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is a stunning ground-up build in the heart of Manhattan. Accompanying the hotel’s debut is the launch of two new restaurants by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés: Turkish-, Lebanese- and Greek-inspired eatery Zaytinya and a new iteration of high-end restaurant The Bazaar coming later in 2022, as well as a rooftop bar.
THE VIBE One of the tallest buildings in the area, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad offers breathtaking views from the Empire State Building all the way down to the Statue of Liberty. With ample natural light, the lobby features a neutral color palette complemented by earthy green and blue accents, creating a comfortable and inviting environment.
THE ROOMS Inspired by the beauty of nature and the surrounding vista and florals as a nod to its Flower District address, the furniture and design are at once comfortable and luxurious. The Chatwal New York
The Chatwal, New York brings to life the city’s infectious energy through vibrant, alluring design and impressive accommodations.
THE NEWS Conveniently coinciding with the reopening of Broadway and the beginning of New York’s holiday season, The Chatwal welcomed guests back into its deep red chambers for the first time since March 2020 on Nov. 1. After a long hiatus, the luxury boutique hotel is once again the go-to spot for after-show drinks.
THE VIBE Broadway glamour and a rich history come hand in hand with the reopening of The Chatwal. The opulent hotel offers a palette of rich reds, eccentric, theater-inspired details and a sense of grandeur that leaves guests feeling like the star of the show.
THE ROOMS Along with a number of early-20th century-inspired rooms, The Chatwal features a collection of 14 specialty suites with outdoor terraces called the Chatwal Crowns, including the Chatwal Suite, which features nods to the hotel’s theater-centric location and a 500-square-foot terrace. 130 W. 44th St.
The Moore
The Moore is a sleek new addition to NYC’s dynamic hospitality scene that is sure to make a splash.
THE NEWS The Moore hosted its grand opening on Oct. 20 with a night of drinks, eats and entertainment by New York drag queen Andy Starling inside its snazzy corridors. Walking distance from The High Line, the Joyce Theater and several eateries, including sustainable seafood restaurant Seamore’s, the hotel’s debut brings a hot new spot to the area.
THE VIBE Located in the heart of Chelsea, The Moore is a quaint, charming hotel with glamorous seating areas and red embellishments. Contemporary artwork is scattered throughout the building, ushering in a cool, stylish vibe.
THE ROOMS Warm wood, gray tones and black-tile bathrooms make up the comfortable rooms and suites of The Moore.
