Bergdorf’s Linda Fargo celebrated her birthday at Hayward House.

THE PARTY Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo celebrated her birthday, inspired by the 1975 Maysles brothers’ documentary Grey Gardens, at Hayward House on the Upper East Side. THE SCENE Guests entered the set of the film greeted by drag performers dressed as Big Edie and Little Edie, while bartenders disguised as gas station attendants poured signature cocktails and lifelike cats slept on a replica of Big Edie’s twin bed. The crowd, which included perfumer Kilian Hennessy and Modern Luxury’s own James Aguiar, dressed in decadent attire that captured the spirit of the film. THE HIGHLIGHTS The theatrical celebration included a dinner served on TV trays littered with faux bugs and rodents on a dining table, with dead flowers as centerpieces. -Victoria Nazarov
