There are three magical words every woman wants to hear once in their life.
Phone. Eats. First.
Because let’s face it, if you’re not taking obnoxious pictures of your food—from every possible angle of course—did it even really happen?
And let’s talk about the “no tag” trend that every basic girl and their mother are doing.
Why is it suddenly cool to not tell people where you’re eating that never-before-seen truffle burger?
There’s something exhilarating about being in the know and leaving everybody else guessing.

The Brooklyn dining scene is hotter than ever, and so is this melt-in-your-mouth pancake with warm honey maple butter. We’re literally melting at the thought of it. And while this Japanese-inspired pancake is absolutely incredible, it’s equally as aesthetically pleasing as it is delicious. Since we’re all in it for the gram, you’re guaranteed to get at least ten “omg where are you” private messages. Will you reveal your deepest darkest secrets? Only time will tell!

You probably expected us to include the 4 Charles burger on this list, but hey, we’re not that basic. Besides, Nowon’s Legendary Burger is waaaay more legendary. This double-stack burger is prepared with zesty kimchi mayo, American cheese, B&B pickles, onions, and the most scrumptious meat you ever did taste. We know you’re dying to take a bite of this culinary masterpiece, but you better post it to the feed first. This dish looks so amazing, it would literally be a disservice to humanity not to.

All sushi is enticing to the eye, but Ume takes its fish to a different level. The Signature Set from this Brooklyn hotspot isn’t just sushi, it’s a work of art. No seriously, it looks like Picasso whipped this up with spicy mayo instead of paint. Each piece of fish is handled with such precision, people will literally think you flew to Japan for the night. On your private jet, of course. Did somebody say Kylie Air?

Ramen and Mac n cheese is the love affair we didn’t know we needed. In all seriousness, why did nobody think of this beautiful combination before?! Not only is this dish a true party in your mouth, but it makes for a stunning Instagram photo. That whole “tastes better than it looks” thing is so not the vibe. And can we take a moment of silence for the cheese pull here? Cheese pull game, strong.
95 Orchard St, Manhattan/Website
We’re totally savory over sweet, but Whipped Urban Dessert Lab’s Peanut Butter Pretzel Ice Cream is absolutely irresistible. And most importantly, it’s drop-dead gorgeous. Like we’re literally salivating just looking at this tower of pure calories—we mean deliciousness. The best part is, the entire menu is plant-based! The ice cream is so spectacular, you would have absolutely no idea you’re having oat milk instead of dairy.
330 W Broadway, Manhattan/Website
While anything is truffle is automatically amazing, A Pasta Bar is taking everybody’s favorite dish to the next level. This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill truffle pasta, it’s a sea of artisanal handmade Tagliatelle floating in a moat of cheese fondue and shaved black truffle. If your mouth isn’t watering uncontrollably right now, we don’t know if we can trust your taste in food. Or anything for that matter.
124 Ludlow St, Manhattan/Website
We’re addicted to fried chicken, so naturally, 375 CHicken N' Fries PB &J Fried Chicken Sandwich is our kryptonite. Besides, have you ever eaten something so photogenic?! Made with juicy buttermilk fried chicken, peanut satay mayo, crispy bacon, jelly glaze, and peanut butter, this award-worthy sandwich is thicc with two c’s. Damn, ma, you’re packing heat! Quite literally.
246 Spring St, Manhattan/Website
Have you ever had cheesecake in the shape of a slab of cheese? Unless you’ve dined at the culinary oasis we know and love as Vestry, the answer is most definitely not. Belonging in the same category as Ume, everything at this downtown spot is artfully prepared to perfection. And how could we forget about the completely edible “mouse” served with the cheese? Every other cheesecake is shaking in its boots.

New York City is famous for its hotdogs, but let’s take a moment of silence for Soogil’s one-of-a-kind Foie Gras Hotdog. Rest assured, this dish is putting our city’s favorite street food to shame. Foie Gras may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but be a team player and do it for the #gram. We’d be lying if we said we hadn't ordered something purely for the pics. Whoops!
37-12 31st Ave, Queens/Website
Uni. Toro. Caviar. A triple threat that can absolutely not be messed with. A formidable trifecta. This combination goes together like Peanut Butter and Jelly, sushi and soy sauce, and of our personal favorite, a burger and fries (and an extra dirty martini, obviously). Served on whimsical milk bread, this fancy toast is worth embarrassing your entire table with your not-so-coy flash photography.
From mouthwatering pasta dishes, to awe-inspiring desserts, here are the best Instagrammable dishes in the city. Wait, do we actually need to talk to other humans at dinner?
