In honor of Broadway's most notable musicals, The Lambs Club, helmed by Iron Chef champion Geoffrey Zakarian, and Grey Goose are kicking off a six-part event series tonight that will feature the cast of "King Kong" and benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Each month through December, the restaurant will host a special evening with the cast of one of the city's most buzzed about shows: "King Kong," "Pretty Woman," "Beetlejuice," "Chicago," "Tootsie" and "Waitress," offering guests a rare opportunity to mingle with the stars of each respective production.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to win door prizes and tickets to the six featured Broadway shows, as well as raise proceeds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS when they order the evening's special event cocktail crafted by Grey Goose Ambassador Douglas Graham-Leigh. Guests who dine at the restaurant through December will be able to order the special Broadway-inspired cocktail too, with $2 from each drink donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The special King Kong Cocktail will be served throughout the month of July and at tonight's special event featuring the cast of "King King."
Artist Toby Triumph has also been tapped to create an exclusive art drawn six-piece set of Grey Goose bottles, each of which will feature artwork from the corresponding Broadway show each month. When placed together, the set of bottles creates a unique mural. After drawing live at each event, the select bottle will be displayed at The Lambs Club Bar, until the set is auctioned off at the close of the Broadway series to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The second event in the six-part series will kickoff on August 1, and feature the cast of "Pretty Woman." Further details on the event series can be found at thelambsclub.com.
