Open for breakfast and lunch, Via Porta offers an all-day takeaway menu of Italian-inspired sandwiches and salads from L’Artusi’s long-time executive chef Joe Vigorito and house-made sweet and savory pastries from L’Artusi pastry chef Janée Humphreys.
There is also a pantry and fridge filled with grab-and-go items including L’Artusi’s exclusive pasta sauces, fresh cheeses, Italian-imported olive oils, and more.
Via Porta’s breakfast menu offers house-made pastries like Cacio e Pepe Scones, Huckleberry Pear Poptarts, Carrot Cake Muffins, and Olive Oil Loaf.
Heartier dishes include Ancient Grain Porridge with candied walnuts, lemon yogurt, and orange-fennel compote; Seasonal Frittata with radicchio, broccoli, goat cheese, and pecorino; and the Uova Funghi sandwich, inspired by L’Artusi’s popular roasted mushroom appetizer, with soft scrambled eggs, roasted mushrooms, gouda, thick-cut pancetta, and lemon aioli.
For lunch, Via Porta offers an array of sandwiches, including the Joe Vigs, Chef Joe Vigorito’s namesake, with mortadella, finocchiona, prosciutto, asiago, mozzarella, peppers, and garlic aioli on a sesame seed roll from Parisi Bakery; Chicken Saltimbocca with a crispy chicken cutlet, spicy capicola, arrabbiata sauce, provolone, house-made pesto, and mozzarella; Arista with roasted prosciutto cotto, provolone, pickles, and mustard, and many more!
Salad offerings include the Sunchoke Caesar Salad with crispy sunchokes, watermelon radish, and goat cheese, and a Sicilian Chopped Salad with finocchiona, olives, fried chickpeas, and cherry tomato tossed in a lemon vinaigrette.
The pantry is brimming with prepared sauces and Italian imported ingredients, including jarred sauces from L’Artusi, like Mushroom Ragu, Bolognese Bianco, and Amatriciana, house-made Giardiniera, fresh cheeses, olive oils, and more.
Via Porta is open daily from 7 AM-3 PM, with the entire menu offered from open to close.
Starting at 5 PM, the kitchen morphs into a ghost kitchen, housing delivery for L’Artusi via DoorDash and Caviar.
