On Tuesday, April 4th, the Lupus Research Alliance hosted the Lupus Handbag Luncheon at The Plaza Hotel. Nearly 300 prominent women and men from New York’s fashion, society, entertainment, publishing, philanthropic and lupus communities gathered in support of lupus research. The luncheon honored two women of achievement, which included CEO of Bally Americas, Claudia Cividino and Lupus Advocate and Cancer Survivor, Alison Lee. The slient auction featured almost 90 handbags donated by top designers to fund lupus research.
