THE PARTY MoMA’s annual alfresco soirĂ©e proved why it’s one of the hottest tickets in town by raising some serious funds for the museum (around $3.8 million) while mixing power players across the art, television and music industries. Last year’s after-party performance by Kanye West, with a surprise drop-in from Jay-Z, left some big shoes to fill for this year’s musical act, but singer Santigold had no problem revving up the crowd with her genre-blending tunes, in between DJ sets by singer and songwriter Solange Knowles. THE PLAYERS The high-profile guest list included luminaries like Chuck Close and Cindy Sherman, plus Barbara Walters and Hilary Rhoda. After dinner, which took place in the first floor lobby and second floor atrium, nearly 1,400 people scooted outdoors to the lavishly decorated Sculpture Garden.
