Montblanc and BAPE celebrated the launch of their new limited edition collaboration last night and the cool kids of New York were out in force to help ring in the partnership. With its iconic product designs, original patterns and motifs, BAPE has been influencing the world of style since it first emerged in the streets of Tokyo, Japan, in 1993.
This one-off product collaboration is the result of two universes merging: a luxury Maison and a streetwear maverick. The collaboration will include limited-edition bags and leather accessories highlighting the juxtaposition of the Japanese fashion house’s disruptive and unconventional character to Montblanc’s fine leather craftsmanship and heritage style offerings.
The Montblanc X Bape limited edition collection is the latest addition to Montblanc’s travel assortment focused on enhanced mobility, style, reliability and performance. The product offering will be available in selected Montblanc boutiques and Bape stores soon.
The collection was launched through a star-studded event and concert at New York City’s Studio 10, where guests celebrated the special edition collection as well as the surprise performance from Lucky Daye and DJ va$htie and live graffiti art by The Mural Kings AKA TatsCru.
