Movie Night!

The Party: Fresh off the red carpet at Cannes, Woody Allen brought his stellar cast and their romantic comedy to the Tribeca Grand for its New York debut. Lou Reed, Nora Ephron and Sofia Coppola were among the notables who came by for a look at the veteran director’s latest, a lighthearted lettre d’amour to the City of Light. The Players: Lovebirds (and cast mates) Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen stepped out for the after-party at the Soho Grand, where they were joined by filmmakers Jason Reitman and Noah Baumbach and funny guys Jimmy Kimmel and Judah Friedlander. Overheard: “I took French classes in anticipation of the movie, but I mostly learned words pertaining to food.” –Rachel McAdams
