Bronson’s Burgers

The team behind popular Lower East Side Thai restaurant, Wayla, and Japanese-Italian restaurant, Kimika, launches Bronson’s Burgers this Thursday! Bronson’s Burgers is a burger-focused restaurant alongside craveable salted fries and decadent milkshakes. Make sure to order Bronson’s Signature Burger with house-made bacon marmalade, cheddar cheese, mushrooms and crispy onions. If you need something to wash down the burger, order the Peanut Butter and Jelly Shake made with vanilla soft serve, peanut butter, raspberry jam and milk.

Pro Tip: Dip your curly fries into your shake. Power moves only.

Wen-Jay Ying, founder of popular NYC Farm-to-Box subscription service, introduces Local Roots Marketplace in Brooklyn. Local Roots is a market, cafe, and social club all in one. This one-stop-shop celebrates locally grown produce and Chinese-inspired cuisine. The cafe menu reflects 95 percent of ingredients and produce sourced directly from local farmers and vendors, with items inspired by Ying’s favorite Chinese dishes from childhood. Make sure to try the Fan Tuan Rice Balls with a sticky rice and pickled vegetable filling, and the coconut and oat milk soaked overnight oats with fresh fruit compote. Talk about bringing farm-to-table to the next level.

If you run a health and wellness Instagram, or wake up every morning with hot yoga, you know that Agave is the new Stevia. Yuco is a just opened Yucatan-inspired fine dining restaurant located in Greenwich Village with a cocktail program just as impressive as the cuisine. Designed by Mixologist Ben Wald of Zuma and Lyan Company, the drink menu features 100 agave-based spirits and innovative craft cocktails. Keep an eye out for the Not Dirty Not Dry Martini, Everything but the Pul with beef-fat washed dark rum, and the Corn Six ways made with corn mexican whisky and real corn.

Calling all herring lovers! It’s that time of year when those with a hankering for herring can get their fill as the annual Herring Festival returns to Aquavit. From July 10th through July 31’st, Executive Chef Emma Bengtsson will be serving seven variations of scandinavian herrings including Ramp Herring, Smoked Priest Cheese Herring, and Shellfish Herring. To compliment the fishiness, indulge in red onion and sour cream, cheese and potatoes, and an assortment of fresh baked breads. We promise you, this $65 prix fixe is a catch!
