How To Celebrate New Year's Eve In The Hamptons

With the holidays quickly approaching, it’s no longer the “off-season” in the Hamptons.

The renowned hotel and spa, Gurney’s Montauk, is expanding its NYE-focused festivities with an immersive full weekend celebration.

From custom poetry to vinyl DJs, Gurney’s offers something for the whole family.

6-0066.jpgAll guests are invited to enjoy an elevated dining experience at Scarpetta Beach on New Year’s Eve, while specific programming for adults and children will be available throughout the weekend.

For Adults

On New Year’s Eve, reflect on the past year with a journaling and fire ceremony with Laura Rubin from Malibu’s Allswell Creative.

Learn how to elevate your journaling skills and create a vision for the year ahead through this creative and cleansing experience while taking in the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Then join the resort’s signature bash starting at 8:00 pm, featuring music from The Rakiem Walker Project, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a premium open bar.

On New Year’s Day, the party continues at The Regent Cocktail Club where a can sip on signature craft cocktails with entertainment from DJ Markciano, a masterful entertainer from Peru known for his harmonious sets blending house, disco, and funk.

End the weekend with a boozy brunch at Scarpetta Beach featuring a poetry station from the Poetry Society of New York where a typewriter poet will write a custom poem on the spot for each individual.

For Kids and Families

Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the weekend, including arts & crafts and bingo, and cookie decorating with Chef on New Year’s Day, where children will learn all the steps to make their own holiday cookies and take home delicious treats.
