Looking to mix up the afterwork drinks routine? Venture up to the 64th floor of 70 Pine St. in the Financial District, where the city’s hottest new cocktail bar, Overstory, awaits. With supersleek, moody interiors and 360-degree skyline views, the contemporary spot serves up carefully crafted sips such as the Easy Money (vodka, coconut, yuzu, lime leaf and soda) and the 212 (whiskey, vermouth, cocoa nib, amaro and black pear) along with beer, wine and booze-free options like the Sim Simma (ginger, hoja santa, banana, lime and soda). Brunch just got a lot more exciting following the announcement of popular Williamsburg all-day eatery Sunday in Brooklyn’s pop-up in the Seaport. The two-story space, at Cobble & Co.’s former address, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an alfresco dining area open through the warmer months, brings with it dishes well-loved by its cult following, such as the Don Ruben omelet and Sunday Pancakes, as well as an inventive cocktail menu. “We are excited to be popping up at the historic Seaport,” says Todd Enany, Sunday in Brooklyn founder. “Sunday celebrates neighborhood at its core, and we’re humbled to now serve this vibrant and growing Seaport community. Ray is most known for his sculpture work, but the artist experimented with other mediums, such as photography and performance art throughout his career.
