British Influence
In a one-year pop-up residency, London-based design brand Jamb can now be found at the ZAK + FOX showroom in the Flatiron District. “Zak contacted us in the depths of lockdown and proposed a joint venture, for Jamb to showcase in their wonderful showroom, which we’d already fallen for when we visited in 2019,” says Jamb founder Charlotte Fisher.

“We leapt at the chance.” ZAK + FOX is debuting its Sea Change line of textiles in conjunction with Jamb, and a selection of 18th century-inspired furniture pieces from Jamb will be featured in the collection. It comprises some of Jamb’s top rustic and antique-influenced creations, along with over 30 lighting fixtures and some newer designs. The brand’s creations have a well-loved and distinctly British feel, adding a layer of interest to any room they grace. Ends Feb. 1, 2023; 346 Park Ave. S., 4th Floor
Right at Home
Residential development 75 Kenmare has officially unveiled its crown jewel: the penthouse. The interiors of the building were designed by Kravitz Design, and this space was prepped by the staging division of ASH NYC. “When designing 75 Kenmare’s penthouse, we aimed to honor Kravitz’s worldly sensibilities and the building’s luxurious materials through the creation of a contemporary home encouraging generous hosting and gathering,” says Andrew Bowen, partner and head of staging of ASH NYC. The kitchen fuses white marble and wood materials for an updated take, while floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living areas give the space a sun-washed feel and the private terrace offers visitors an unbeatable view of the city. 75 Kenmare St.
NYC Debut
Hudson Grace proprietors Monelle Totah and Gary McNatton
Opening its first New York City location, Hudson Grace brings its home decor to the West Village. As its ninth U.S. store, this San Francisco-based brand offers a European look and California feel to its home items. “We are honored to open our first location in NYC,” says Monelle Totah, co-founder. “We are about gracious entertaining and gifting and believe the brand is a natural fit for NYC’s ‘urban modern’ style. We look forward to introducing our offerings to the West Village.” Shoppers can peruse the brand’s serveware, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, linens, candles featuring HG Signature scents and curated tabletops. 405 Bleecker St.
Creative Hub
High-end tabletop and textile store Chilewich opened its second location on the East Side in January. Joseph Sultan, Chilewich’s CEO, designed the store to include samples and swatches, customization offers and a conference room available for designers and clients to meet. And in April, an outdoor event space and garden designed by Brooklyn-based landscape designer DLANDstudio opened. “We’re thrilled that more and more interior designers are choosing Chilewich for their residential projects, particularly for custom rugs,” says Sandy Chilewich, founder and creative director. “The embrace of the outdoors as an extension of living space has also raised our visibility, because all of our products can be used indoors or out. We wanted to open an uptown store that put us in the mix with the city’s best showrooms.” Not only is the team dedicated to functional and beautiful design, it’s also passionate about giving back—celebrating the grand opening, every purchase means a tree is planted (this initiative is ongoing) and 100% of proceeds from sales of the limited-edition Wink place mat will be donated to World Central Kitchen until the product sells out. 213 E. 59th St.
