On Thursday, November 3rd, the third annual Our Family Table raised over $700,000 for University Settlement, The Door and Broome Street Academy. New York City’s most powerful, influential leaders in the business, entertainment and tech communities were in attendance. The evening honored Joe Torre, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and Chairman of the Safe At Home Foundation, and Gap Inc., top apparel retail brand for their longstanding leadership on youth employment and to celebrate 20 years of partnership with The Door. The evening was emceed by Bryan Terrell Clark, who recently starred as Marvin Gaye in MOTOWN: The Musical. Great Performances provided classic New York-style dishes, beverages were provided by Champagne Henriot and Michter’s Distillery, DJ Chris Bachmann of 4AM Entertainment provided music. Performances featuring University Settlement, The Door and Broome Street Academy’s participants were part of the lively affair and drove home the impact these organizations have on more than 40,000 New Yorkers each year.
