PatBO’s chic new flagship brings the brand’s exuberant energy to Soho.
Following founder and Creative Director Patricia Bonaldi’s successful debut runway show at New York Fashion Week, Brazilian clothing brand PatBO launched its first U.S. flagship in Soho with plans to open two more U.S. locations over the next five years.
In-store, shoppers can expect ready-to-wear, swim, bridal and leisure items as well as flagship-exclusive selects.
The two-level space features all of the label’s product extensions, from swim to bridal, along with exclusives, including the bestselling pajama sets, which can only be found at the new store.
Dressed in custom flamingo pink wallpaper, precious quartzite stone and custom epoxy floors, the shop brings the world of PatBO to life, even incorporating one of Bonaldi’s hand-drawn prints in the wallpaper. The colorful space holds gold racks occupied by draped clothing and vibrant patterns.
Several seating areas graced with furniture sourced from Lulu and Georgia and custom pieces by Claude Home’s Maggie Holladay allow shoppers to peruse the artful clothes at ease. “Designed with events and gatherings in mind, the space aims to become a destination where customers will not only experience the world of PatBO and feel firsthand the Brazilian heritage on which the brand was founded, but also feel a sense of community,” Bonaldi says.
Since launching its international business out of a New York office four years ago, PatBO has gained a loyal, high-profile following in the states. This New York City flagship presents the opportunity for its local clients to appreciate the designer’s elaborate handsewn embroidery and daring prints in a way they haven’t before—in person. 65 Greene St.
