THE PARTY More than 500 politically minded guests arrived at the Ziegfeld Theatre to celebrate the premiere of Game Change, HBO’s buzzed-about tele-film based on the book by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin that chronicled the 2008 presidential election. After viewing the drama of John McCain and Sarah Palin’s run for the White House, revelers headed to the Four Seasons. THE PLAYERS Strutting down the blue carpet in a stunning black and white Lanvin dress, Palin doppelgänger Julianne Moore said, “The movie is about how we pick our leaders.” Light jazz music piped into the Grill and Pool Rooms of the iconic restaurant, where a red, white and blue color scheme created a patriotic vibe, thanks to party planner Jonathan Mariano.
