Skirting the Issue

| June 27, 2011 | Parties

The Party: Sean Connery’s charity, Friends of Scotland, put on a tartan-filled, tongue-in-cheek fashion show to raise funds for disabled veterans. The Glenlivet bar kept the single malt flowing. The Players: Donald and Melania Trump took it all in from a comfortable perch, and Giants running backs Danny Ware and Ahmad Bradshaw looked as comfortable in their kilts as the strapping Scottish rugby stars who walked the runway before them. Best Dressed: Matthew Settle, who fearlessly hit the runway in white-and-pink tartan. Wow Factor: As a surprise finale, Kiefer Sutherland, Chris Noth, Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan and Jason Patric—Broadway cast mates of That Championship Season—turned their rear ends to the crowd and threw their kilts up. Talk about a send-off!
