On Tuesday, May 24th, New York City’s top brokers gathered in Penthouse A at The Schumacher for conversation with The New York Times Bestselling Author Michael Gross. He provided insight into The Schumacher’s storied history and NoHo’s transformation into a sought-after billionaire’s district, shared his thoughts on the current real estate market and briefly discussed his highly-anticipated book Focus: The Secret, Sexy, Sometimes Sordid World of Fashion Photographers.
Tocqueville catered the sit-down meal, and exclusive broker John Gomes of Douglas Elliman was onsite to provide tours of the stunning duplex condominium. The Schumacher is a historic Romanesque Revival-style print atelier that was re-envisioned into a boutique address of gallery-like loft residences. Thoughtfully restored to its original grandeur by a team of visionary tastemakers, including Morris Adjmi of Morris Adjmi Architects for the architecture and interiors, celebrated gallerist Cristina Grajales for the curation of public spaces, the renowned Ken Smith for the conceptualization and execution of the building’s courtyard garden and Focus Lighting, Inc. of Space Shuttle Museum fame for all lighting throughout. The residences have a timeless appeal and enduring quality.
