Somehow, it’s already 2022 and we are all looking for a valid excuse for a fun party. After nearly two (terrifying) years of the pandemic, our going out outfits and soireé-worthy accessories are begging for a break from the closet.
The next holiday on our calendar is St. Patrick’s Day. Cue the shamrock shakes, Lucky Charms references, and the one day a year there’s a line to get into an Irish pub.
The usual St. Patty’s aesthetic is ironic t-shirts from Party City and plastic green beads adorned with shamrocks. Kiss Me, I’m Irish.
This year, we’re elevating the look— because life is too short to wear t-shirts from Party City. Any holiday is an excuse to put on an Insta worthy ‘fit.
Of course, green is the only unifying element to a St. Patricks Day outfit. We’ve rounded up the cutest green pieces to celebrate the Irish festivities. Even after the March 17th frenzy has faded, these fashion finds will make a great addition to your rotating rainbow of a wardrobe.
Your friends will be green with envy.
Tube tops are trending. Paloma Wool’s funky green knit one fuses Y2K nostalgia with a contemporary edge. Kendall Jenner is always seen wearing Paloma Wool, so it’s safe to say this top is Kenny approved. Layered over a white collared shirt, worn under a leather jacket, or go for a bare-shoulders look and wear it on its own, this top is as fun as it is versatile.
Mary-jane’s are having a moment. Don’t worry: these aren’t your elementary school uniform's Mary Janes. Platform and patent leather, we’re in love with these khaki green Jeffrey Campbell loafers.

The grass is always greener. So are these grass green trousers— perfect for sashaying from the office to a St. Patrick’s day cocktail hour. The duality of woman!
Let’s face it: St. Patrick’s Day will most likely entail braving the cold NYC weather in pursuit of a good time. Bundle up for a darty or between bars with this faux-fur, green checkerboard coat.
The mini skirt is rising from the fashion grave for its renaissance moment. Designers everywhere are embracing the mini skirt. Danielle Guizio’s tweed pleated mini skirt set is a modern ode to the 1960s style.
If you haven’t seen Julia Fox’s interview with Alex Cooper, you probably haven’t been on the internet these past few weeks. Uncut Gems’ Josh Safdie and Ye’s (former?) muse, Julia Fox is downtown Manhattan’s next big style star. Channel her this St. Patrick’s day with this edgy leather corset top.
What’s at the end of the rainbow? These adorable mushroom studs by Lot28, a jewelry brand inspired by the “immediate climate issues and the beauty of our ecosystems.”
While jewelry is a necessary final touch to any outfit, it can also carry emotional significance. Think of Brinker and Eliza's gold necklace as a talisman, a piece charged with good luck— the luck of the Irish.
