You have so many great curations by interior industry icons! We are very fortunate to have relationships with some of the most celebrated designers in the country. Some designers learn about us through their clients, others through our marketing to the design community or through industry contacts. Our designer relationships tend to be multifaceted as they often buy, consign and refer, so we stay in touch.
The Local Vault presently accepts consignments in the tri-state area, Palm Beach, Boston, Atlanta and California, with one warehouse in Connecticut (with an eye on expanding to other markets soon).
I think designers are willing to collaborate with TLV because they know we will present them in the best positive light. Our interviews are in-depth and thoughtful, and we aren’t shy about promoting a designer on all of our social media channels.

Why do you think so many designers love shopping at The Local Vault? We treat our designers with extra care by providing a dedicated liaison and salesperson to assist them with purchases. Sometimes that means coordinating a multi-item delivery or facilitating a reupholstery or refinishing job. Designers especially love that we have so many unique, one-of-a-kind pieces on our site. They appreciate that everything is immediately available and at a price that allows them to save, which helps keep them on budget. Increasingly, we hear that they strive to be more environmentally conscious, and working with TLV enables them to do so.

What advice do you have for those shopping online who might not be near a location? Are you able to ship smaller items? First, I suggest signing up for our newsletter to stay informed of new arrivals, so you’re not missing out! Not to worry if you don’t live near one of our locations, as we ship all of our products throughout the U.S. I would also recommend measuring your space to ensure the item will fit exactly where you want when it arrives.
