The Museum of the City of New York's Winter Ball

The Museum of the City of New York hosted its annual elegant Winter Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street.

THE PARTY To celebrate the Museum of the City of New York, Mark Gilbertson, a member of the board of trustees, threw another elegant black-tie soiree, this time at Cipriani 42nd Street. THE SCENE Manhattan’s elite, dressed in their best eveningwear for the annual gala, sipped cocktails while listening to a few short speeches throughout the night. The venue was just as beautifully decorated as the glamorous crowd, which included longtime chair Allison Rockefeller, James Rothschild and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, chair Andrew Roosevelt and fashion designer Nicole Miller. THE HIGHLIGHTS The glamorous night, sponsored by Oscar de la Renta and Vhernier, raised more than $650,000 in funds to support the museum. -Jennifer Cohen
