The Ocean Elders Event

| October 3, 2014 | Parties

On September 21, 2014, The Ocean Elders, an organization that protects the world's oceans and its wildlife, hosted their annual benefit at New York's City Winery. This event brought together leading ocean advocates, scientists, celebrities, businessmen, conservationists, along with the high level country officials who were in town for the UN General Assembly. Guests included Sir Richard Branson, Queen Noor, Maria Damanaki, Capt. Don Walsh, among others, who discussed ways and initiatives to help stop the decline of ocean health. The intimate, pleasant gathering kicked off Climate Week.
