They call it a comeback. A Coach comeback, that is.
Coach debuts Stuart Vevers’ Spring 2022 collection with the house’s return to the runway in the Big Apple.
The collection debut, broadcast live around the world on the house’s brand channels, evolves the house’s innovative hybrid approach to the runway.
Coach combined a live show with its popular digital format to celebrate the enduring spirit and creative energy of New York City in a bold new way. Now that’s innovation.

Held at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76, the experience opened with the next episode of Coach TV, this time inspired by public access television and its inclusive, communal approach to programming.
It was followed by the collection film, aired simultaneously with the live runway presentation in an ingenious breaking of the fourth wall and beamed live to audiences around the world.
The show was trippy in the absolute best way possible.
This new chapter of Stuart Vevers’ vision for the house celebrates the shared progressive attitude of Coach’s first head designer Bonnie Cashin—the creative pioneer behind the iconic turn-lock—and the next generation.
An expression of the role Coach has played in shaping the legacy of American style, the collection explores ready-to-wear and bags from Cashin’s archives reimagined with Vevers’ vision of American classics, subverted through the lens of now.
Presented on a cast of new faces who represent the energy, diversity, and spirit of the next generation, the collection is a love letter to New York that pays tribute to city institutions like Central Park, Zabar’s, Serendipity, and the Brooklyn Bridge.
The brand capitalizes on the immense role the city continues to play in inspiring people all over the world.
If you’re just as addicted to Tik Tok as we are, you’ll be happy to know that Maddie Ziegler, Noah Beck, and Blake Gray were in the audience, along with key editors, stylists, retailers, and global influencers alike.
Alexandra Daddario was there too, but don't worry she isn't as creepy as she was in White Lotus and Why Women Kill. She's sweet, not psycho, we promise.
The brand also introduces a tote crafted in collaboration with local independent craftspeople as a way of supporting and giving back to New York’s fashion community.
As part of the house’s commitment to sustainability and pieces made to last, the collection also debuts updates of the Cashin Carry Tote in environmentally responsible leather.
Additionally, the collection includes leather crafted upcycled baseball gloves, along with upcycled denim ready-to-wear and reimagined vintage Bonnie Cashin outerwear.
“Spring presents my vision of a new vocabulary of American fashion inspired by our 80-year heritage through the lens of the next generation,” said Vevers. “A celebration, too, of the colorful, upbeat optimism of Coach’s first designer Bonnie Cashin, it’s a collection I designed in response to the times we are living through—and a collective wish for a better, brighter future.”
