Uniting Against Ebola Benefit

| December 17, 2014 | Parties

On Friday, December 5th, The MacDella Cooper Foundation hosted the United Against Ebola benefit at the Upper West Side’s Landmark on the Park. Guests dined buffet style amongst the Urban Zen artisan d├ęcor while listening to the evening’s entertainment by C+C Music Factory’s Zelma Davis, broadway child actress Frenie Acoba and Grammy-nominated saxophonist Amy Dickson. Luxury children’s designer, Bonnie Young, presented her Spring 2015 collection in the “Kids Walk for Kids” show, walking to beats spun by Donna D’Cruz. Project Runway winner Irina Schabayeva’s presented her women’s evening wear fashion show and Broadway sensation Saycon Sengbloh closed the benefit with her soulful vibes.

The live auction raised more than $15,000, which included a shopping excursion with Donna Karan at her Urban Zen boutique, two business class tickets from British Airways and a five day, four night African safari.
