Luxury Swiss watchmaking maison Vacheron Constantin unveils its grand NYC flagship, inspired by American art, that carries boutique-exclusive models in the heart of New York City.
Commemorating its 190 year relationship between the maison and America, Vacheron Constantin has debuted its first North American flagship boutique in New York City. The label's authentic, timeless and ingenious timepiece creations, which have been a favorite among the likes of the Rockefeller family, Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor, can now be purchased at its new American home between Madison and Park Avenue.
Just like the label's watches, the opulent 4,500-square-foot flagship boutique's attention to detail is ever-apparent. The glass exterior of the store, which features a brass-toned design of Vacheron Constantin's motif, the Maltese Cross, opens onto 57th Street. Inside the store, guests will find an illuminated atrium and an alluring blue straw marquetry wall with Maltese cross emblem.
The open discovery table allows patrons to scour the brand's creations and techniques, and a collection of M'etiers d'art watches. Take the sweeping staircase upstairs, where a VIP Lounge and bar awaits. Most exclusively, the store features an interactive experience dubbed the "Chonogram" that allows visitors to traverse through the digital archives of Vacheron Constantin's crafts.
The flagship boasts many more experiences for its clientele, like in-house watchmaking, strap customization and the exclusive permanent "Les Collectionneurs" vintage offer. As a finishing touch, for the Flagship’s opening the display windows and first-floor exhibition area will be fully encompassed by a bronze city including a car and track installation created in collaboration with American artist, Chris Burden’s Estate.
"Engaging with the creative spirit of America and its many diverse cultures, Vacheron Constantin is ready to make 28 E. 57th St. its new North American home," Vacheron Constantin's CEO, Louis Ferla, shares. "This flagship exemplifies Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to excellence and our motto, 'Do Better if Possible, and That is Always Possible.'” 28 E. 57th St.
