Located steps away from Lincoln Center, Atlantic Grill is an Upper West Side mainstay perfect for those heading to the ballet. Now under leadership from Monte Carlo Hospitality Group and Michelin-starred Chef Antonio Salvatore, Atlantic Grill offers the seafood dishes the neighborhood has loved for years, now with a Mediterranean twist. Diners can enjoy a selection of raw bar items like Crudo and Atlantic Fish Ceviche, a Seafood Tower, eclectic sushi rolls, an array of Catch of the Day fish cooked to guests’ preference, and house specialties like Lobster Spaghetti that serves two, and Chardonnay Steamed Mussels and Clams. Casa Limone is a casual, elegant Italian restaurant inspired by the flavors, sights, and scents of Southern Italy. Conveniently located near Rockefeller Center, Radio City, and the Theater District, Casa Limone offers a special pre-theater dinner menu for $45 available Tuesdays through Fridays beginning at 4 pm. The three-course prix-fixe menu includes a choice of antipasti like Misticanza salad, Vellutata mushroom soup, and Crudo di Salmon, followed by mains like Fusilli Alla Pomodoro, Margherita Pizza, Grilled Dorade with roasted vegetables, and Brasato di Manzo. For dessert, guests can choose from Torta al Cioccolato for an indulgent chocolate cake or Crostata di Limone, a house-made lemon cheesecake with raspberry coulis. The dishes are all perfect to pair with Italian Cocktails like the Negroni and signature Casa Limone.

Just a quick walk from the Theater District, VALERIE is a bi-level cocktail bar and restaurant perfect for those looking for a few drinks or dinner before a show. At VALERIE, diners can enjoy a relaxing drink and conversation underneath the murals in the Art-Deco inspired Gatsby Lounge, indulge in casual New American fare in the dining-oriented Den, or head upstairs to the Blushing Bar, a full-service space that offers amazing cocktails and savory dishes. Open daily, the menu includes dishes such as Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Baby Beet and French Feta Salad, Wild Atlantic Salmon, and the two-handed VALERIE Signature Burger. The beverage program includes a vast selection of gins perfect to enjoy as one of Valerie’s Signature Gin and Tonics, in addition to cocktails like the What’s Up Doc?, Rather Proper, and 20th Century.

A quick subway ride or walk away from the Theater District is Yoon Haeundae Galbi, a beloved Korean BBQ restaurant and home to the city’s best short rib. The restaurant presents a contemporary take on traditional recipes, inspired by owner Bobby Yoon’s grandfather’s restaurant Haeundae Somunnan Amso Galbijib, which opened in 1964 in Busan, South Korea. Menu highlights include the Marinated Short Ribs, which are prepared through the Haeundae Cut, a special technique that was invented by Bobby’s grandfather to tenderize even the toughest of meats; Galbi Dumplings with short rib, chive, and tofu; Uni Mentaiko Rice with uni, mentaiko, wasabi tobiko, seaweed, pickled chayote and microgreen, and Soybean Stew with short rib broth, Yukon potato, onion, tofu, scallion, and long hot pepper. Located in Midtown Manhattan, Yoon provides locals and visitors alike with a modern take on authentic Korean BBQ.

If you are with a group and hungry for family-style Italian, then it’s an easy decision – iconic restaurant Carmine’s is only a short walk away.
